Professional CyclistProfessional cyclist George Hincapie, 13-time Tour de France and 4-time Amgen Tour of California veteran, has participated in Breakaway from Cancer® since the program launched in 2005.
Hincapie says, “Nearly everyone is touched by cancer in one way or another, and it is critical that those affected realize they don’t have to face this illness alone. Just as in cycling where it takes a support team to help a rider breakaway from the pack, it takes a strong support network to help a person with cancer face the many hurdles throughout treatment.”
